Last December, we officially kickstarted the onboarding process for Grow with Google Career Certificate scholarship program to help young individuals looking to secure in-demand jobs across Africa, secure training and certification at no cost without previous knowledge or experience. As a Google partner since 2018, The RootHub has relied on the company’s support to surpass our goals and drive our initiatives to success. It has been hectic running this program across our different locations, but the energy of our expanded team is infectious. It gives me great joy to present our 1st Quarter report as we reflect on how we can achieve higher completion rates and support more people to begin a career leveraging technology.
