Over the years, our core aim at the Roothub has always been encouraging youthful participation in our community. This has informed our key decisions, as well as shaping the direction of our programs.
With this in mind, we were delighted to officially unveil our youth Ambassador, Mr. Edis brown, at the Roothub HQ in the city of Uyo, on 26th February 2021. Edisbrown is a budding poet, OAP, a student of Accounting, and an all-around nice fellow. He had his sister and childhood friends among others, come to celebrate with him and also attest to his selflessness towards community building.
It was also an excellent opportunity to welcome young people to our community, to learn and understand what we do at the hub. And also tap into the many opportunities in the tech and creative sector.
The event was ramped- up with series of activities like gaming (Scrabble, chess, ludo), Q&A session, networking, talent showcase, and talk by the COO of the Roothub, Francis Onuk.
