Akwa Ibom’s foremost technology ecosystem and business hub, The Roothub is set to host the 5th edition of its annual business, creative and technology festival in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The theme of this year’s festival which is: ‘’Create the future’’ is billed to hold on September 26th to 28th, 2019 at Ibom Hall, in the heart of Uyo.
The event has a line up of side attraction such as Innovation zone, experience zone, Music zone, Creativity stage and a Marketplace for vendors to exhibit their products and services.
As the city of Uyo continues to bask in the euphoria of being known as the start-up capital of Nigeria, this festival will serve as a catalyst to inspire entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts, students and the general public with the right mix of vital components needed to spur the economic growth of the region.
While revealing the purpose of this year’s StartConFest, Tony Onuk, the Co-convoke of the festival: “In the interest of the future of the festival, we are constantly teaming up with new partners, introducing new sessions/workshops and zones to generate all-around participation and growing the startup culture. Team StartConFest has lined up over 40 excellent individuals from different industries to ensure the festival our attendees know and love, keeps growing”.
