Skills and talents abound in these areas though some of the rural dwellers have found their ways to the urban region in search of Jobs and better opportunities to improve their well being. These untapped skills and human resources is what has driven a famous tech hub in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Nigeria, to launch a program tagged Roothub Tech 101 tagged Create, Engage & Deploy. This program has been on for some years now and according to Tony and Francis Onuk who are the founder of the hub, the program is set to roll again for this year with a huge goal of training 10,000 young people across Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria Niger Delta.
