Moving to Uyo has been such a whirlwind experience for Emem, Marriage was good ,things ran smoothly when the first kid came too, till it dawned on her that her business of 3 years was suffering.
After so much energy and time she put into growing her startup and the client base she built all these years,she slowed down because of motherhood. After much appointments being cancelled because there was no place to meet her clients. Her friend called her out of the blue moon to ask how her business was faring in Uyo and Emem opened up to her about her frustration of getting a place where she could meet her clients, work in a convenient place and somewhere that takes the burden of getting power,furniture and even a front desk person for her business. Excitedly, she asked where she could find such luxury and her friend told her about The Roothub at Akees Plaza opp Ibom hall,Ibb way, Uyo Akwa Ibom State.
Emem turned up to the office with just her laptop and paid for a co working space.
Well,the good news is that the business she built over these years is not just back, but it’s doing better, she gets only good reviews about her space from clients and also she’s collaborating with other smart entrepreneurs at the Roothub.
